Import Declaration, Bill of Lading (BoL) or Air Way Bill (AWB), invoice, TCC, TRN, GCT Certificate and where required; Import Permit, certificate of origin, health certificate  

 

Process Steps

Step 1

Grower completes application form to be a commercial exporter 

Step 2

MICAF receives application, reviews and passes the application to RADA

Step 3

RADA team inspects farm to verify production quantities and prepares a report 

 

Step 4

 If a farm does not meet the required quantity then:

i) MICAF advises the applicant that they do not meet the requirements

ii) Applicant receives advice that the application has been refused 

If a farm meets the required quantity then :

i) A letter recommending applicant be granted commercial exporter status is provided to the Minister of MICAF for signature

ii) Minister of MICAF  signs letter 

iii) Commercial Exporter Approval letter is forwarded to JAMPRO and applicant 

iv) MICAF commercial exporter approval  letter  received by the exporter 

v) MICAF commercial exporter approval letter  is received  by JAMPRO

vi) Grower applies to JAMPRO to be a registered exporter 

vii) JAMPRO receives application and grants registered exporter status 

viii) Approval Letter prepared  and sent to Exporter 

ix) JAMPRO receives letter 

 

 

Step 5

If the crop is ready then:

i) Apply to PQD for phytosanitary certificate and arrange an inspection 

ii) PQD receives application inspects and approves 

iii) The phytosanitary certificate is prepared and sent to the exporter 

iv) PQD phytosanitary certificate received 

v) Approval to Export Spice form signed  and sent to Exporter

vi) Grower applies  to TBL for an export license

vii) TBL receives the application and grants the export license 

viii) Export permit prepared and to the exporter 

ix) Export License is received
