Notice

Temporary Cessation of the Electronic Signature for

e-Certificates of Origin

Exporters,

Please be advised that the Jamaica Single Window for Trade (JSWIFT) will temporarily cease the electronic signature, stamp and QR Code for Certificates of Origin.

However, the applicant will still be required to submit the application, make payment, and print the approved Certificate of Origin via JSWIFT. The generation of the CARICOM Invoice – for goods and JN2/JN3 Certificate – for textiles will continue via JSWIFT.

The printed Certificate(s) of Origin, CARICOM Invoice(s) and/ JN2/JN3 Certificate must now be submitted to the Trade Board Limited for the signature and stamp of the approving officer before they are sent to the importer in the recipient country.

Also, please be reminded that the original copy of the Certificate of Origin must be sent to the importer for verification and clearance purposes.
