THE TRADE ACT

THE TRADE (PLASTIC FURNITURE CONTROL) (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 2004

 

 

In exercise of the power conferred on the Minister by section 8 of the Trade Act, and of every other power hereunto enabling, the following Order is hereby made:—

1.  This Order may be cited as the Trade (Plastic Furniture Control) (Amendment) Order, 2004 and shall be read and construed as one with the Trade (Plastic Furniture Control) Order, 2003, hereinafter referred to as the principal Order.

 

2. The Schedule to the principal Order is amended—

(a) in paragraph (a), by inserting immediately before the words "plastic chairs" the words "multi-positional"; and

(b) by deleting the note to the Schedule and substituting therefor the following—

"Note: In this Schedule—

"ASTM" means the American Society for Testing and Materials;

 

"BSEN" means British Standard European Norm.".
