The Registration of Titles Regulations, 1914
SPECIFIED FEES
(under section 173)
( Made by the Registrar of Titles on the 28th day of February,
1914 and consented to by the Governor in Privy Council
on the 24th day of March, 1914)
- These Regulations may be cited as the Registration of Titles Regulations, 1914.
- A certificate of title shall not include more than one parcel of land except as hereinafter mentioned unless the Registrar of Titles shall otherwise direct.
- A certificate of title may include two or more parcels of land which are contiguous.
- A certificate of title may include two or more parcels of land which are not contiguous if they are situated in the same parish and are held and worked together as one estate such as a sugar estate with detached wharf land or detached mountain land.
- Any person applying for one certificate of title in respect of two or more parcels of land or of lands described in two or more parcels must satisfy the Registrar of Titles in such manner as he may require that such parcels may be included in one certificate of title.
- The severance of lands by a road or such like shall not render such lands discontiguous within the meaning of these Regulations.
