Step  1 Applicant-     

• Logs into the JSWIFT
• Completes Application Form and attaches required documents
• Submits Application

Step 2JSWIFT

-

• Verifies Application
• If verified: Registers and assigns a Unique Reference Number
• Sends notification to the applicant with relevant details

Step 3

Applicant-

• Receives notification with relevant details and makes payment

Step 4

JSWIFT-

After Application is updated to paid:

• If required: Performs Risk Check and assigns Risk Level
• Assigns Application to relevant BRA(s) in order of priority
• Assigns and notifies Senior Licensing Officer

Step 5

 Licensing Officer-

Receives notification, retrieves, and processes Application

Step 6

Senior Licensing Officer-

1. If update is required: re-routes the application to the Applicant in JSWIFT citing details of the updates to be made;
2. If Application is rejected: cites reason for rejection;
3. If Application is approved: updates JSWIFT

Step 7

JSWIFT-

Notifies the Deputy Trade Administrator of approval

Step 8

Deputy Trade Administrator-

Receives notification, reviews application and makes final decision

Step 9

Deputy Trade Administrator-

1. If update is required: Re-routes the Application to the Applicant in JSWIFT citing details of the updates to be made
2. If Application is rejected, rejects Application in JSWIFT citing reason
3. If Application is approved: updates JSWIFT

Step 10

JSWIFT-

Sends email notification to Applicant to advise of the Trade Administrator's decision

Step 11

Applicant-

Receive email notification of decision

If Application Not Verified – From Step 2

JSWIFT-

Notifies Applicant of missing information or document

Applicant-

Updates Application and re-submits  and return to step 2 of normal flow

Where Update is Required – From Step 6(a) or 9(a)

JSWIFT-

Sends email notification to Applicant citing required update

ii

Applicant-

Receive email notification; updates Application and re-submits for further processing; return to respective step in the flow (6 or 9)

If Application Not Verified – From Step 2

JSWIFT-

Sends email notification to Applicant citing rejection and the reason for rejection

Receive email notification
