Natural Coconut Water Import Permit Process

Step	Actor	Task Description
	Applicant	Logs into JSWIFT Select Regime Type: IMPORT Selects Process Type (Commodity)
	JSWIFT	Displays relevant fields based on Process Type selected Indicates mandatory fields and required attachments
	Applicant	Fills out Application form and attaches required documents Submits Application with attachments
	JSWIFT	Verifies Application being submitted If verification fails see AF1, otherwise continue Calculates and displays the relevant fees Registers Application and assigns a Unique Reference Number Updates Application Status to *Registered* Notifies Applicant of successful submission
	Applicant	Makes Payment for Application
	JSWIFT	Updates Application status to Paid Creates and assigns the Application Assessment to the MOAF Assessor Notifies MOAF Assessor of the assignment of the Assessment via email Makes Application available for download Makes ‘No Objection Letter’ available for download
	MOAF Assessor	Receives notification and reviews application and determines action If more details are required see AF2; otherwise continue Prints and submits the Application and the Letter to the Minister for review and signature
	Minister	Reviews and makes decision Signs ‘No Objection Letter’
	MOAF Assessor	Receives and uploads the signed ‘No Objection Letter’ in JSWIFT Select outcome based on the Minister’s decision to either Approve, Query, or Reject If Queried* see AF2, otherwise continue* If Rejected* see AF3, otherwise continue* Approves MOAF Assessment
	JSWIFT	Updates MOAF Assessment status to approved Creates and assigns an Application Assessment to the JACRA Assessor Notifies Assessor the assignment of Assessment via email
	JACRA Assessor	Receives notification, reviews Application and makes decision to either Approve, Query or Reject If Queried* see AF2, otherwise continue* If Rejected* see AF3, otherwise continue* Approves Application
	JSWIFT	Updates Application status to Approved Makes ePermit available for download Transfers Approved Permit to the JCA Customs Management System (ASYCUDA) Notifies Applicant of Approval
	Applicant	Receives notification of Approval Downloads ePermit (if required) *END PROCESS*
AF1: If Verification Fails
	JSWIFT	Displays error message showing what needs to be provided
	Applicant	Updates application Re-attempt submission *Revert to Step 4*
AF2: If Queried
	Assessor	Selects option to Query and indicates Query Type (Clarification, Modification or Attachment Upload) Enters additional details required from Applicant Submits Query Request
	JSWIFT	Updates Application status to Under Query Notifies Applicant of Query Request via email Makes Application available for modification or uploading of Attachment (if required)
	Applicant	Responds to Query (updates Application as requested if required) Resubmits Application *Revert to normal flow*
AF3: If Rejected
	Assessor	Enters reason for rejection on the Assessment Updates Application to Rejected via the Assessment
	JSWIFT	Updates Application Status to Rejected Sends email notification to Applicant citing rejection and the reason for rejection
	Applicant	Receives email notification *END PROCESS*
