The Processed Food Act, The Processed Food (Grades and Standards) (Amendment ) Regulations, 2018

 

In exercise of the power conferred upon the Minister by section 13 of the Processed Food Act and of every other power hereunto enabling, the following Regulations are made:—

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Processed Food (Grades and Standards) (Amendment) Regulations, 2018, and shall be read and construed as one with the Processed Food (Grades and Standards) Regulations, 1964 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Regulations), and all amendments thereto.

2. The Schedule to the principal Regulations is amended by deleting—

(a) the heading “(5) MARMALADE (Citrus Fruit Origin)” and the grades and standards or other requirements prescribed under that heading;

(b) the heading “(6) CANNED ORANGE JUICE” and the grades and standards or other requirements prescribed under that heading;

(c) the heading “(8) CANNED PINEAPPLE JUICE” and the grades and standards or other requirements prescribed under that heading;

(d) the heading “(11) TOMATO JUICE” and the grades and standards or other requirements prescribed under that heading;

(e) the heading “(12) TOMATO JUICE COCKTAIL” and the grades and standardsor ot her requirements prescribed under that heading;

(f) the heading “(15) CANNED ACKEE” and the grades and standards or other requirements prescribed under that heading;

(g) the heading “(16) CANNED CONCENTRATED GRAPEFRUIT JUICE” and the grades and standards or other requirements prescribed under that heading;

(h) the heading “(17) CONCENTRATED ORANGE JUICE” and the grades and standards or other requirements prescribed under that heading;

(i) the heading “(18) JELLIES” and the grades and standards or other requirements prescribed under that heading;

(j) the heading “(19) JAMS” and the grades and standards or other requirements prescribed under that heading;

(k) the heading “(22) FRUIT NECTAR” and the grades and standards or other requirements prescribed under that heading;

(l) the heading “(23) TAMARIND NECTAR” and the grades and standards or other requirements prescribed under that heading;

(m) the heading “(24) SAUCES (GENERAL)” and the grades and standards or other requirements prescribed under that heading;

(n) the heading “(25) HOT SAUCE” and the grades and standards or other requirements prescribed under that heading;

(o) the heading “(26) HOT PEPPER SAUCE” and the grades and standards or other requirements prescribed under that heading.
